So far...
My YouTube Channel is off to a quiet start. I expect that of course. I'm also not going into it without misgivings that it could crash and burn! It just might do that. I realise that, in all honesty, science is not something a lot of people are passionate about like myself.
But this is not something to dwell on.
Are you- Dear Reader- passionately interested in something? Really, you are? Well so am I!
So is the person in the room next door. Or the house next door. Or sitting next to you on the train to work, or growling about traffic in the car next to you at those traffic lights....(hint: concentrate on the road!)
Whatever that thing is that really switches you on, it probably isn't the same thing that switches many other people you know on. But who cares, right? They don't have to like it.
You do!
And, somewhere out there in the world, so do a lot of other people. Countless people just like you have the same burning desire to just learn stuff, think about stuff and get lost in the wonder that is this amazing universe we live in.
Because look at it this way. The universe isn't just a bunch of stars, planets, galaxies and black holes. It's EVERYTHING. Of course it's everything. Every single little thing you see and often don't notice is all a part of this universe. Even the things that human beings stuck together out of other things. The universe churned all of those things out. It created it all, the bits and pieces we use to make other bits and pieces, and the information that allows things to be things and not shapeless chaos.
It's kind of cool when it's seen that way.
